As Founder of Bluff City Resumes & Career Coaching, Terrice Thomas uses her skills in communication and coaching to help clients reach their professional goals.

Terrice Thomas is a graduate of Jackson State University (Jackson, MS) where she received a bachelor's degree in mass communication. She also holds a master's degree in public administration from Keller School of Management (Oak Brook, IL).  Throughout her professional career, she has served in various positions in the non-profit sector including fundraising and development, volunteer management, special event planning, and community engagement. Ms. Thomas is also experienced in writing grants, creating strategic plans and other professional documents for community development corporations, churches and starter non-profits. Thomas worked in local government for many years, managing a library branch and providing innovative programming and resources for the community. She was featured in Memphis Flyer and Bold Journey magazine.

In order to introduce youth to journalism and public speaking skills, Ms. Thomas created the Due South Memphis Podcast which provides elementary and middle school students the opportunity to interview elected officials and local celebrities regarding their chosen career paths, while also exploring current events.

Her current role is the Director of Memphis programs at Project Transformation Tennessee. Project Transformation offers afterschool and summer programs that provide literacy instruction and social emotional learning support for children & youth. The program also offers paid internships to young adults, ages 18-25. As the first African American Director of Memphis, Thomas works to mentor young adults in the program helping them develop personally and professionally as leaders.
She also partners with local schools, non profits, and businesses for outreach events, speaking engagements and trainings.


Thomas volunteers in the community as a Reach Memphis high school mentor, college ministry leader, and Junior League of Memphis member. She is the social media co- chair for Memphis Alumni Chapter of the Jackson State University National Alumni Association, Inc., and an alumna of Leadership Memphis.
